EXTREME WEATHER THIS YEAR

Extreme winter weather taking place in some parts of the world. In this situation any layman can think about the global warming threatens given by the scientists. Some of those predictions were the melting of ice in the polar regions causing increase in ocean water level worldwide & causing threat to some islands, melting of the great Himalayas resulting a major fresh water management problem for a population of about a million people. And a lot others like these.

But unexpectedly this winter a heavy snowfall in America was recorded. Similarly in India a record in low temperature was recorded in some pars of the country. Even due to Fog transportation problems arised. No. of railway accidents & road accidents increased.

In Us change in normal weather patterns were seen: heavy rains in southern California,Snow falls in northeast, cold snap in Florida causing the death of over hundred manatees and triggered an coral bleaching event.

Lets shift from regional weather patterns to the global.

Reviewing the records 2005 was the hottest year & 2009 was followed by it. Viewing the last century records we can easily observe the increase in global temperature decade by decade.

If there is no.fluctuation in global warming then why these regional climate changes occured. It is because of the periodical change in air flow in the upper atmosphere, change in ocean airflows & changing climate.

El Nino-Southern Oscillation, ofyen called ENSO is a climate patern that occurs across the tropical Pacific Ocean on average every five years. Best known for it's floods, droughts, and other weather disturbance in weather. It is characterised by warmaing & cooling of the surface.

Many water resouces has change their size or even vanished, deforestration occuring which also plays a great role in the flow of air & changing climate.

So, there is no excuse for us in increasing the level of greenhouse gases.

Necessary remedies should be taken, not in words IN WORK.
